AWC Systems Technology began operations in 1983 with primary focus on developing a general line of high efficiency, user friendly firearm sound suppressors.  By 1985 the company had introduced a dozen or more systems in a wide range of calibers. The firm had also established itself as the world leader in commercially available silencer technology.

By 1988 the company was well known domestically and internationally in the counter terrorist and special warfare community, and had begun successfully completing contracts for these users.   In 1989 the company relocated its headquarters from Houston, Texas to larger and more modern facilities in Phoenix, Arizona.  At that time AWC Systems Technology moved into research and development at warp speed.  New concepts in silencer designs emerged at a blinding pace.

In 1993 AWC entered into yet another venture when a request was met for a noise suppressor to handle low to high pressure air flow on small corporate jets. Today AWC still supplies this critical part on these aircraft.

In 1997 AWC Systems Technology moved into a facility four times larger to help accommodate the increasing demand for our quality products.   Over the last four years AWC has experienced phenomenal growth.  AWC realized years ago and believed then, and now, that it is important to produce the best products possible with the best materials available. Integrity and honor will outlast and overcome everything.
